My cosy newborn photography studio is based in Waterlooville, near Portsmouth in Hampshire. Over the years I have photographed hundreds of newborn babies, and every single session is incredibly special. There is something truly magical about being trusted by new parents to photograph their brand-new baby and create their very first professional portraits. I’m often trusted to gently pose, photograph, and sometimes even cuddle your little one during the session and I won’t lie, the cuddles are definitely one of my favourite parts!
As an experienced newborn photographer in Waterlooville, your baby’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I use only the safest posing techniques when working with newborns to create beautiful and timeless images. Some poses are created using digital composites, ensuring your baby is fully supported and safe at all times.
A Calm & Comfortable Newborn Photography Studio
My newborn photography studio is warm, clean, and has welcomed newborns from all over the south coast including Chichester, Bournemouth and Southampton! A calm and soothing atmosphere helps your baby settle comfortably while we capture their first portraits.

These help create a variety of beautiful and timeless images during your baby’s photoshoot.
Newborn babies are best photographed within the first two weeks after birth, when they are still very sleepy and naturally curl into those adorable newborn poses. However, from experience I can tell you that older newborns can still create absolutely beautiful photographs.If you have older siblings, they are more than welcome to be included in the session. Many families also choose to include parent and family portraits during their newborn shoot to capture those first precious memories together.
Our Newborn Photography Process
To make booking simple, we keep a “Baby Diary” to track expected newborn sessions. This allows parents to secure their newborn photoshoot while still pregnant, based around their estimated due date.All newborn sessions require a £25 booking deposit to reserve your session in the diary.After your photoshoot, you will receive access to a private online viewing gallery, where you can choose your favourite images from your session. Once you’ve selected your images, you can then settle the remaining balance for your chosen package.Take a look at our newborn photography packages to find the perfect option for when your little one arrives.
